Our evenings on the patio are busier lately – we BBQ in the evenings or the guys are outside during their small group time (we host a young married’s small group and when we split, the guys go outside). We strung up some lights last spring when my in-laws were in town for our backyard wedding reception and I loved the romantic lighting.
There was one thing, I couldn’t stand having to climb up on a chair to plug them in the outlet under the porch so I found a wireless remote outlet which now allows us to simply push a button to turn them on and off.
If things aren’t convenient for you to use, you won’t reach for it, do it, or even think about it. So try to find solutions that will make your items easily enjoyable. Whatever happened to the clap on clap off sensor? Man that was genius. Just kidding.
