Bonjour from your favorite Par-Asian. Oh if I lived in Paris that would for sure be my blogging name, haha! Anyway, I’m not in France but I am in Salt Lake City. I felt very French wearing my outfit this day, and of course with a bold red lip because how could I not when a big bold red lip is on my sweater?
I packed this striped lightweight Italian merino blend sweater (I prefer size small for a more comfortable fit), and this ribbed midi skirt which also comes in gray. I’m in my typical size XS in that. It’s so comfy and casual yet looks dressed up at the same time. Also helpful when packing because it doesn’t wrinkle – winning.
I love how it ties casually in the front, you can untie it or bow it, or do whatever you like with it. I also like that it has a slit in the front. It was so comfy to wear while sitting on the bus to our next destination. Banana Republic always makes some the most casually trendy and comfy pieces I love adding to my closet.
This was my first time in Salt Lake City, and in Utah in general. This travel experience has been wonderful – the mornings are early but the days are packed and the sights of what God has created has rejuvenated my soul.
Driving through the states has been such an eye opening and heart changing experience. I often think I have to travel overseas to be inspired or enjoy other cultures forgetting how much history our country already has and we have amazing Native American history to discover too!
A bold red lip has been my go-to lately. It makes me feel dressed up more when I’m casual or don’t have much time to get ready.
Have you heard of Dose of Colors? They have some great pigmented lipsticks – I think I saw they are sold at Ulta.
What a lovely day in Salt Lake City, the people were so kind and I loved seeing all the flowers in bloom, I’m getting garden envy! Speaking of gardens, it’s almost time to start prepping my fall garden. We had a huge Home Depot delivery of mulch and new soil so it’s time to get back out there – cannot wait!
Thank you Banana Republic for sponsoring this post.
