Packing for Sony San Diego

Yesterday was pure madness in our bedroom.  I’m packing for San Diego which then goes into Seattle and then I have two days of rest back in Phoenix before I’m on a plane again to Ireland and London with my girlfriend for 10 days.  So I was quadruple packing.

I hang outfits on anything I can find – including curtain rods which are just perfect if you ask me.

The dress code says all meetings and dinners are casual.  Here’s the thing – I totally can do casual, but for an event like this, I’m throwing in a little business casual, but less stuffy, of course.

I suppose you can say this was packing at its finest.  On the Sony Club blogger agenda – Del Mar races and sailing in San Diego!  So this is what is tentatively packed – and after I snapped this pic I changed a few outfits and shoes, go figure.  You’ll just have to look next week at what I wore.  I’m just so honored at this amazing opportunity given to just 11 bloggers invited to partner with Sony that I really want to be well groomed.  Looking sloppy is not an option – it only happens in the wee mornings when I wake up to garden.

The shoe contenders – only the first two pairs made it:

Mr. Wonderful was practically sleeping in my closet these past few days with my outfits hanging on every door.

I’ll show you the Ireland/London packing next week.

For now, look what I picked up at Ulta yesterday – a new leopard print toiletry bag by Trina!

It makes no sense to me why I need all of this and that weekender toiletry tote is four times as big as my orange travel makeup bag.  Add that mystery to one of the wonders of the world.
