New Things I Purchase for Spring and Summer

Every season I treat myself to a few new things. OK wait, I know, I buy a lot of stuff, I get it. But I intentionally look for a few wardrobe updates for the spring and summer season – because in Phoenix, it’s a really long time! Whether I end up tossing older version of it, eh well… that will come eventually. Possibly.

I should say that I sort of give myself permission to find new trendy styles for the season, like a new swimsuit, sunglasses, and a pair of sandals. Because sometimes I really need a refresh anyway and also encouragement to let old things go.

So this is to say, I got a new swimsuit this season and it’s no surprise, Lilly Putlizer. It’s my first Lilly swimsuit, and first one for the season.

Can I also mention I’m glad it actually doesn’t make me look like I need to stuff my top? Because I was legit concerned when I first saw it I was like hm, are these cups going to work? And they do.

And I’m also not a booby person, like I never looked up a boob job I just never cared. I think growing up I was like when are these things actually going to get bigger and they just never really did LOL. Then college came and I tried those chicken cutlets and I just really felt uncomfortable. I just didn’t want them to be the center of attention, I think I was too scared. But I am all for doing whatever you need to do to make you feel confident, and sometimes I’m like wow that looks amazing on her but I would feel so uncomfortable – strange right?

I invest in my skin and having good hair days. The other stuff I can stuff, hahahaaa just kidding. I’m married I don’t have to. Oooohkay, cracking myself up over here.

Oh another great secret I have for summer tan is the Perfekt body perfection gel matte tan spf 30 which seems to be sold out everywhere online at the moment. I picked up the St. Tropez One night Only Face and Body Lotion when I had to work down in Tucson for my university covering homecoming and needed a tan on my legs. It worked great – I need instant where I can also wash it off and I am also allergic to whatever makes your skin tan through fake tanning sprays. Womp womp. This is pretty much like makeup you can wash off.
