One of the best ways to update your wardrobe is to plan a trip somewhere nice! It doesn’t even have to be over the top, it can just be fun for a special occasion – like a milestone dinner or girl’s weekend. I always find new pieces to bring with me on my trips, or sometimes just buy it and find an excuse to book that trip – because the background would compliment my outfit – haha!
I was so excited to partner with Neiman Marcus Last Call for my Switzerland trip – we have a local store which I’ve frequented. I had just found a leopard print jacket at a bargain basement – love bargains – and I said, This is will be my theme for Switzerland – glam!
Last Call featured designer items on sale, and most days, there’s sale on sale (including clearance items) which makes it the ideal place to shop for fashionistas who love Neiman Marcus style! I found this black backpack (this is cute too) for the trip, because I find backpacks more convenient for traveling – to pack a camera – or two, shopping goods, and in my case, emergency umbrella.
It was also perfect because it rained and snowed some days and the water just ran off without ruining the backpack or anything inside. I insist this this is the perfect size and material! The tassel details was darling too.
I have been loving the embroidered jackets too! They are unique – you can use it to replace a cardigan or wear it like a sweater or a light jacket.
Toward the end of the trip, the sun came out again and I was able to wear this adorable cold shoulder linen top (sold out but love this, this and this!). Look at our hotel view in Murren –
On those sunny days I didn’t wear a heavy coat and was happy to wear a lightweight jacket as we walked around.
