My mom and dad brought me some of my old diaries from Northern California that have been sitting in my room since I left for college at the age of 17.
Did you write about politics in your diary when you were 10 years old?
No offense to anyone who has different political views, but can we focus on the fact that I could transition so quickly from the POTUS to 90210? Genius.
I’m sure you wrote about boys, like I did. This was me when I was 7.
Or the frustrations of even owning a diary at 10 years old.
Or a blog.
I have fondly named these diary entry shares on Instagram as #diariesofdianaelizabeth (Find me @dianaelizabeth_). I wish I could pay my elementary school self to write my blog posts.
Have a fabulous weekend!

I love how you share these entries with us! My favorite is the transition from politics to 90210 — talk about the order of priorities. ;) Obviously, your diaries were preparing you for blogging. You were totally way ahead of the game . :D

Haha, or scatter brain… ;) I suppose it did prepare me for blogging, didn’t it? Or getting that degree in journalism. Guess I always enjoyed writing!

These are awesome!! There aren’t many people that kept diaries and I’m so glad I’m not the only one (and I still do!)! They’re so much fun to look back on :) As always, love your posts, Diana.

It’s crazy how much I have and wrote, but, I feel like I get to meet myself at different ages and stages. I’d like to ignore my teen years though :)

Hah! That’s like me. I have so many diaries since childhood. I guess we were always meant to be bloggers. lol
