California You are Here Collection Starbucks, $14.95 / SweetLeaf Water Drops, $4.99 (c/0)
“It’s so hot in Arizona, are you like thirsty all the time?” asked my girlfriend from back home in Northern California.
I laughed so hard – it was a valid question, but I guess I never considered myself thirsty, or much of a water drinker. My headaches which turned into migraines was combination of bad sinuses and lack of water. Dehydration can cause headaches, did you know?
I can go all day going from iced latte to iced latte – never touching water, it’s the sweet tooth in me. In college, my roommates would lecture me on cracking open a soda for breakfast – I know, I know.
“But I hate water, it so boring. It tastes like nothing!” I would say.
Today even though I know better, sometimes I don’t drink water until it’s too late. Blah! Don’t call me, I have a headache, wah!
My friends at SweetLeaf (they are based in Gilbert, AZ) sent over a package of Water Drops, which are water enhancers in a variety of flavors.
The Water Drops cost $4.99 with an ongoing 30% off sale on their website:
- Zero calories
- Stevia (so no sugar)
- No artificial ingredients (no bitterness after)
One squirt is all it takes and it does make me want to drink all my water! Flavors include: peach mango, lemon lime, raspberry lemonade, and strawberry kiwi. One lasts 32 servings. There also Sweet Drops which include: valencia orange, vanilla cream, and chocolate.
I know, chocolate – tee hee. I’ve already drank so much more water this week than I ever have in the past month.
You can also buy them in most Sprouts and select Fry’s and Albertson’s.
I hope this helps some of you who need to drink more water to me. We should have an accountability group, check in with each other that we drink more H2O. :) Cheers to drinking more water and healthier brains and bodies!
