Mind and Body Scents

I burned through my fall and winter Chesapeake Bay heritage collection scents which was so lovely (see post here). As guests came in and out, they mentioned how wonderful it smelled.

I’m always itching for clean scents for those moods – when I’m working and need clarity, scents can really set the tone on how you feel! Now that we’re approaching the new year, Chesapeake Bay’s mind & body line are full of refreshing scents with really cute names!

It just feels like it’s cleaning the air, bringing you a good positive outlook! Kind of the thing we need as we move into a new year.

You can peek at the mind & body page here, but I wanted to give you an idea of the scents, but I also think just grab a couple with the right names too – you know, when you don’t know what to burn, read the label and decide on your mood!

If you’re picky about scents, then please allow me to describe them for you *wink* because I get it.

^^ Peace + Tranquility is jasmine, cotton blossom and rose it’s fresh and airy. When I smell it I think of laundry if you get what I mean. Clean and floral with a little hint of sandalwood. Natural oils included are ylang ylang, lemon and cedarwood.

Joy + Laughter, the pink jar, is currently burning on my desk right now. It’s a cranberry Dahlia and very fruity. Natural essential oils: Orange peel, lemon, and cedarwood.

^^ Reflection + Clarity, was my girlfriend Ricki’s favorite so I gave it to her as a thank you gift for all she’s done for me lately with my blog post help! That’s her hand in there ;) She’s such a good friend and coincidentally one of my friends I go to for clarity. It doesn’t surprise me it was her favorite because it’s a sea salt sage – so Ricki if you know her. It’s fresh and smells like a morning crisp air, on the shores of the bay.

Of course if you aren’t sure which you’d like and you’re just a candle lover in general and need the peace of mind balance, just buy ones with the right name and light it when the particular mood strikes you!

If you’re into room diffusers, the Balance + Harmony diffuser is a great option – think guest rooms, tucked on bookshelves, those areas where you want it to smell amazing but be discrete.

Smells of waterlily pear, it’s a juicy tropical fruit with peach and pear, with florals and coconut. Natural oil includes orange and it’ll diffuse up to 3 months.

Check out the Mind & Body line here just in time for the new year and grab a few extra for gifts or to encourage a friend!
