Most of you, if not all of you are probably prepping or leaving this week for the holidays. So I’m blogging to the end of this week and taking next week off since I’m sure we all deserve a little vacation. But, I didn’t want to miss wishing you a Merry Christmas so I’m doing it now.
This was the front of our card and the photo was unplanned. It came from a week of already receiving Christmas cards and I told Benjamin, “Get dressed, the light looks good and it’ll be gone in 15 minutes.” In which he was not happy with me since he wasn’t able to prepare much.
Then a bunch of moving the chair around to figure out where the best background was – such confusion, we settled on this. I had to include our beloved grapefruit tree and my very proud climbing jasmine vine. The buns didn’t cooperate in the beginning but after a while, they did.
So, Merry Christmas to you my friends! I hope you have lots of fun parties to attend, family and friends to see.
I mainly pray that you feel the spirit of the season, and search within your heart to reflect on anything that might be missing and where to turn. And if you’re a Christian, I strongly recommend that you take this opportunity to invite your friends who don’t know God and invite them with you to attend a service at church. There is no better time than a time like this when we are able to be around those we love and care for and celebrate the birth of our King.
Lots of love. xx

Diana Elizabeth says winter rye is so much brighter than the bermuda grass in the summer. Gotta love the pink geraniums in the background too!
