{From Molly + Luke’s Farm Shoot}
Doesn’t a big chunk of life require quite a bit of problem solving? An action causes a reaction, one move affects not just the person moving but the people left behind, the list goes on.
You cook a dinner and now you have a mess to clean – I picked this example for a reason.
I blogged about a quick clean up solution, a dish soap that kills 99.9% of bacteria so you use it on dishes and the counters. We really do use this stuff. While I was wiping down the counters the other night I thought a bit more about what I’ve been doing lately.
You may have noticed I’ve been sharing a lot of tips, short cuts in life as I like to call it *wink* Safeway delivers our groceries and it takes me less than 10 minutes to grocery shop and for about $7 I think that’s worth it, especially since I dislike grocery shopping. We also have portioned food deliveries which means cooking takes me about 30 minutes and it’s healthy, more affordable, but most importantly, I enjoy it.
I joke about my Asian efficiency. I get things done quicker, faster, and while it’s not funny to say I’d be a good factory worker, part of me really thinks I would be efficient – because I find shortcuts. Not the kind of shortcuts that make a house fall apart, but I find ways to make the mundane tasks in life easier. I love to problem solve and I love finding things out there that make life that much easier/enjoyable/solutions don’t you?
So the chats you have with your girlfriends, or rather the chats I’m having with mine, that’s what I’m doing here. I kind of figured it out last week – wait for it –
This blog is a lifestyle website dedicated to gardening, home decor, photography and style – and exists to inspire ways to live a simple and efficient life.
Life can be so complicated if we make it, so let’s not. Let’s not over consume, let’s find products that work better for our lifestyle, let’s take beautiful photos to remember our life, and share stories to inspire and encourage others. Let’s take what we learn and teach others so we can make sense of our days. I want you to feel comfortable to comment sharing your own finds and tips too because I know you have some!
So if you don’t have life figured out, great, neither do I! Let’s share tips. Speaking of tips, I have quite a few fun discoveries I’m working on introducing to you that I am certain will help your lifestyle as it does mine. Posts take quite a bit of work – I am determined to put many things together on my own to prove that if I can do it, I can tell you that you can as well and I do a lot of trial and errors before I give it the OK to share. But stay tuned, good things are coming!
I made this sign that’s in my kitchen because quite honestly, I desire a calm life, and it’s mine, and it’s OK that I love it.

Hope you all have a wonderful start to your week, sending you positive thoughts so you learn and feel accomplished this week! xx

I have this verse up in my kitchen:
“Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your hands, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
I don’t know why, but I just really like those words. I feel more “ok” with life when I read them.
