When you realize you have a color palette for life and makeup compliments it, haha! I don’t blog about everything I get in the mail but these products stood out and I wanted to use it for a bit before introducing it to you.

I was fortunate to be invited to an incredible intimate dinner with Glossier a few weeks ago when they came in town. I loved it because Sam and Lauren who came from Glossier were so fun and also a few of my favorite blogging girlfriends were also there – Sakura and Kate.

I felt like I genuinely clicked with Glossier and saw them in a Domino magazine (which I kept) and they highlighted the entire team and it stuck in my mind. Glossier’s motto is skin first, makeup second. I love that their packaging is not only clean but it’s so beautifully basic. The packaging is fresh and the orders come in this puffy pink bubble wrap reusable makeup bag – seriously order something from there it’s so cute. Sam told me she puts a hard boiled egg in there and brings it to work – LOL so cute!!

Anyway a few things I love are above and I have a few more but they are already used and newer products look better in a photo, haha! I have the highlighter in two shades and same with the lip color which goes on sheer and doesn’t look thick for daytime, like lipstick can get kinda heavy (even though I do love lipsticks too). I’m super excited about the boy brow because I have been so bad at putting anything on my brows even though they are microbladed I still need to control my eyebrow hairs, haha!

Another thing I was super excited to add to my makeup routine are these PHYTO-PIGMENTS Juice Boost by Juice Beauty – the illuminating and the bronzing, shown (c/o). I use their PHYTO-PIGMENTS Flawless Serum Foundation and I love the way it feels on my skin (organic makeup) and I will just mix in some of the juice boost in with it for a dewy look – which makes you look younger, ps. The bronzing juice boost I use as a contour around my cheeks and my hairline with a beauty blender.

Not gonna lie it kinda killed me to squeeze out product on the table to show you. I hate wasting product haha. I really do love this stuff – the illuminating bottle is already more flat than the bronzer because I’ve been using it a lot, almost on a daily basis.

bioeffect serum

BIOEFFECT sent me this gorgeous packing with their EFG Serum and the before and after photos look amazing you have to look for yourself. I have personally been using Olay for a while since the campaign I collaborated with them and kept to that, but I am am happy to add in this serum after seeing the before and after results after 90 days of usage.

You just add 2-4 drops to the face and neck on clean dry skin in the morning. I’ve heard you should let product sit for about 5 minutes before applying the next. I have been using Differin for a bit too (in addition to my Olay after my 28 challenge) and I think what I’ll do is use the BIOEFFECT EGF Serum for the mornings and use the Differin at night, before the Olay cream I use. You can find the BIOEFFECT line at your local Cos Bar or online.

OK now for some unglamorous talk. Hair loss or thinning hair.

You know what, I want to put myself out there more so let’s just be real – hair loss happens with pregnancy and stress and age. I had a bump on my head and all the hair fell out on it from stress! Aveda sent over their latest hair care line just for thinning hair called Invati. The shampoo exfoliates to renew the scalp, the conditioner thickens the hair with fullness, and the scalp revitalizer helps reduce hair loss to keep the hair you have longer – massage it in. It’s a 3-step system I’m excited to try. Their thickening tonic which is a best seller instantly thickens hair and expands roots so you can spray this every day to make your hair thicker – I need volume so this is a good thing!

Are you discovering any new beauty products? I keep what sticks and then I add a few things and have learned to use it for at least 30 days to see results. Would love to hear your favorites.
