Hi loves, I wasn’t going to post until the new year but in the middle of me tackling my inbox, requesting design changes for my new blog design to launch (SO excited for you to see it) and also hearing drilling, banging and such around the house with the home expansion I really felt like I needed a break and wanted to pop in and say hi and wish you a Happy New Year.
I have to share so much about the expansion and what I’ve learned. I’ll tell you quickly that things are great, and it’s very important you can make quick decisions when there are issues that you didn’t know (like not able to add sun tunnels to areas where there’s a roof pitches, what are the chances of that) so you need to be flexible. Nothing big has come up and it’s just being here has been helpful to catch things before it’s too late (nothing’s really too late, but before fixing it is more of a pain).
Insulation is up, and now drywall is up and that means the house is getting dark before it gets light again – as in we add the rest of the VELUX sun tunnels and skylights. Roof shingles are on thanks to GAF roofing, all of this to be explained in more detail soon.
Recently on stories – (see original blog post if you are can’t see in RSS feed or email):
I’m editing a little differently. Maybe you’ve noticed? I’m trying something new. I will keep my clean editorial style for my editorial and corporate clients but I want to mix it up here on the blog. So far it seems a little more fun and I no longer feel like I’m messing up my photos. Really this editing thing has been such an issue with me like I would see other people’s feeds or editing and be like, that is SO cool it’s moody but then couldn’t get myself to do it and now I don’t know what happened but I’m like, let’s mood this thing up.I’m babbling, so it’s time to go. I hope you have a restful weekend and I’ll see you in the new year. Thanks for being here and spending time with me, I am so grateful for each and every one of you. xx
Happy 2019!
