#InfluencedBy

I
love discovering products from friends, or any recommendations from anyone actually!   These are some great products that came recommended to me, and now I’m recommending them you – a double recommendation.

If there’s anything I have influenced you to try – perhaps Olay, buying a Murphy bed, gardening, I don’t know, anything at all, can you let me know? I’d love to hear about it!

Natural Non-Toxic Cleaning Products

My friend Farrah and I were working and as I was photographing her for social media, she requested I take a photo of her with non-toxic products called Rebel Green. We of course discussed other products who most think are non-toxic (but weren’t but clearly had some marketing power). Then Farrah sent me home with some Rebel Green products to try. I’m going to order the fruit and veggie cleaner on Amazon now. If you like non-toxic cleaning products, Rebel Green uses essential oils and no synthetic fragrances. They are genuinely natural cleaning products!

A Selfie Ring Light with Clamp Mount

My girl gang is on GroupMe and we text each other news, group dates and trip info, funny memes and products we need to share with the 6 of us. Recently Brenna shared her new clip on ring light she bought for Zoom calls. I have to admit good lighting is very important in this stage of my life, it’s imperative I have all the good light – turn on the flash! I had to ask for the Amazon link and this showed up at my door two days later. Gotta love Amazon! This is now in my bathroom for any IG stories I do.

Silver and Gold Polishing Cloth Jewelry Cleaner

I was at my friend Jennifer’s house recently and we talk a lot about things we’ve discovered. I was talking about my bracelets I wear every day and the story about how one felt between the tracks in Paris. She asked if they were gold plated and I said yes, and she handed me a gold polish cloth and low and behold my LV bracelets looked NEW! I was like get out of here! Click here for gold, here for silver – apparently there is need for both, so I have both! It’s cheap anyway! Great gift idea, a stocking stuffer, one of those things every gal will use.

EASY GARLIC PARMESAN KNOTS

My friend Demi posted she was making some garlic Parmesan knots and they are made from Pillsbury dough! Really so easy and just mixing some oil and seasoning and done! They are delicious! And also a great idea to serve instead of garlic bread, so so so delicious! Serve them hot though, and they will be a great hit.

Creatively Using thrifted Crystal Bowls

This one I also learned from Farrah, her home is silver and crystal. I joke that her favorite color is clear. She loves crystal bowls, using them for makeup, keys, business card holder, she says they are more beautiful than what’s new and out there. I started to look at everything differently after she said that and went to my favorite thrift stores to pick up crystal bowls! The crystal footed bowls are a must-have, look for those and bring some sparkle in your home. It really elevates the look.

Guide to decorating book: Habitat

I listen to two interior design podcasts (read interior design cliff notes on them here), and on the Ballard Designs podcast, How to Decorate, the ladies mentioned their favorite design books and I loved it! I bought a lot of them, one of them being Habitat which is an excellent guide for any interior design lover, or someone who bought a new house, or just wants to learn more about interior design. There’s a checklist for every room to consider and great tips – I’m still working my way through the book.
