Stinson Beach + Hiking 4 miles

After the Justin Bieber concert in San Jose, Rachel and I drove an hour and a half from San Jose to Stinson Beach, arriving past midnight in a cute little lodge. We woke up had an amazing breakfast at Parkside Cafe – I enjoyed a breakfast croissant with avocado and tomatoes, I was in heaven!

We just drove down the street to check out the beach before preparing for a 4 mile hike.

The Matt Davis Trail

I suppose Bieber Fever is real and made me do something out of the ordinary – a 4 mile hike! It all started with photos I saw on a fashion blogger’s website and a text message to Rachel telling her, “I want to go here!” Little did I know it would take a lot of steps and time to get there –

I wish I could have done a photoshoot in this location!

Rachel was an amazing planner for this – she even said all I had to do was carry myself, she’d carry the backpack. I then asked her if she wanted to be my partner for Amazing Race because I don’t want to carry a thing but just see the world. Rachel is a true athlete, completing a 100 mile race!

Some trail paths were hard to cross –

And sometimes instead of going around I choose an alternate, more difficult route –

And Rachel pointed out things not to touch, aka Poison Ivy. Some where located right where your face would brush it! I’m so glad I had a great tour guide. The ferns were so pretty, all curled up and I sure miss seeing lush green living in the desert.

So where did the trail path take us? Oh, come back tomorrow – it was definitely worth the hike, you’ll think it’s a scene out of a movie.
