A Picnic Gathering

The best part of going on vacation are the stories you get to share with friends when you return. It’s been coffee and dinner dates on my calendar immediately when I got home which (1) reaffirms I have the bestest friends ever and (2) the best conversations and catchup time is over food!

Dietz & Watson foods understands how the power of food can bring people together that they have an incredible contest for Phoenix locals – and you definitely should enter! Four randomly selected winners and their guests will experience a one-night only exclusively curated dinner with Chef Cullen Campbell at Crudo! Open to residents of AZ, NV, NM or TX, 21 years or older. Enter here, very easy to enter.  How wonderful to have an incredible chef make dinner and you just show up with your friends!

Meanwhile, as you wait to win your seat at the table, how about creating the ultimate picnic basket so you can catch up with your friends?

I realized a huge basket was the simplest and a cute way to carry a lot of stuff and little paper lunch bags were easy dividers to pack in pretzel sticks, dried apricots, cherries, those munchies! I also found my outdoor blanket with fabric from a fabric warehouse – I just laid the fabric on the ground, left the raw cut edges – no sewing required. I loved the pattern because it reminded me of France…

…even though I’m fully aware I have stories to share from Switzerland. But remember, one side of Switzerland speaks French…

^^ Did you see my Panorama cheese knife I bought for myself Benjamin? It has the meter height for the Swiss Alps!

I still scratch my head on why we aren’t using the metric system like the rest of the world.

Dietz & Watson really knows the way to my heart, meats and cheese! Make sure you enter to win that wonderful night out with your guests at Crudo by Chef Campbell. It’s such a hot spot in Phoenix you can’t pass up this chance for a delicious night with your besties and some great conversation!

Thank you Dietz & Watson for sponsoring this post. #ChooseTheTable #ChooseTheTablePHX
