Sweet Flowers

The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
There is no other commandment greater than these. – Mark 12:31

He peeked around the corner when I finally answered the front door.  The adorably cute little boy next door and his sweet mama came by the other week to give me these to welcome me to the neighborhood.  They look right at home in my wooden planter from Anthro, don’t they?

I absolutely adore my neighborhood.

Diana Elizabeth sent out hello introduction cards to her neighbors with her contact info and a note.  Is that weird?  She just wants to be friendly.  She swears she’s not campaigning for neighborhood President or anything of the sort.  In fact, there’s no HOA, thankfully.

Diana Elizabeth is an author, photographer, and obsessive thrift shopper. You can typically find her in the garden wrist deep in dirt, at a local estate sale or planning her next epic party. She continues to blog weekly.

No, you aren’t weird! Unless we both are…when we moved to our new neighborhood, we brought cookies over to neighbors to introduce ourselves and meet them. That was backward, haha! Not that long ago we brought a loaf of bread and our contact info to some of them as well…..just trying to be friendly!
