Yesterday was a pretty exciting day. I met the designers of Badgley Mischka! Mark and James were the sweetest, and so lovely to talk to. I really felt so much warmth, kindness and light from them, which made my heart sour because they are one of my favorite designers. My wedding shoes were Badgley Mischka!
Origami sleeve dress: Badgley Mischka (c/o) in red or navy, in white or black and two-tone pink and black version, wearing size 2 (but can fit in a size 0) / Embellished heel: Badgley Mischka (c/o) / Louis Vuitton Cuffs: here and here
This origami sleeve dress comes in solid colors red, navy, white, and black. Can you imagine wearing this for your wedding shower? The white would look stunning! And if you want it shorter, just hem it shorter!
I was told some ladies have hemmed this dress into a top because the sleeves are so fun! It made me think about the way I shop now – maybe you see an outfit, but maybe you need to do something to it to make it a little more “you” do it! I sometimes forget just a few hem changes can really personalize the look.
Embellished heel: Badgley Mischka (c/o)
My heels received so many compliments at the event, and they are so gorgeous. True to size – I am in 8.5 which I wear for open toed shoes and boots. For pumps I am usually an 8.
The origami sleeves on this dress is so fun, very dramatic. Here is the gown version. I am in size 2 but I could have easily sized down to my true size, 0.
I can’t really describe into words what it’s like to be dressed head to toe in by one your favorite designers. I saw the new fall collection at Neiman Marcus and I was blown away by some of the outfits, so elegant.
Apparently I need to dress up more because I got so much sweet feedback when I posted my dress. Maybe I need to look into more styled outfit posts? Well, I sure do like getting dressed up. ♥

Diana Elizabeth felt ready to go out and get dinner since she was already dressed up (as in her face) so she went to Whole Foods. She saw her favorite Pumpkin Cardamom pasta sauce was back so she bought 4 of them because that is all her hands could hold. If you share the same Whole Foods as her you may want to go get some while you can – she plans to clear the shelf and store them for the next year.
