5 Unique Adult Group Party Activity Ideas

If you’re looking for something fun to do with a group of friends, for a birthday party, team building, or a girl’s night out, I found some ideas and though these are in the Phoenix area, there are some locations across the country or similar. These ideas are outside of painting parties because honestly even with the ceramic or painting art I am a critic of myself as a creative. To me, those super creative activities are not fun for me as I never want to hang artwork I did on my own because it’s just not something I’m proud of. Just being honest here, everyone is different!

These businesses I share have locations in Phoenix but a few many also have locations across the country, so check it out if you are located elsewhere.

TIP: If inviting for a party, let your guests know the approximate cost of their attendance to the activity ahead of time (unless you are choosing to pick up the tab then I would also state that on the invite).  Birthday dinners are similar — people pay for themselves and the birthday girl, but they can decide what works with their budget.

Create your custom lip shade with a color expert!

1 – Lip Lab

Create a custom color lipstick, lip gloss, or lip balm with 6-20 people in a reserved party room with a color expert. Takes under 2 hours. Receive an exclusive makeup bag. You can pick the flavor, and free engraving on the lipstick! So special.

2 – The Gem Studio

Create a unique piece of jewelry picking stones and make it from start to finish. Takes 3 hours with a guided teacher. Locations: Provo, Salt Lake City, St. George, PC, Waikiki, AZ, TN. I did something similar with my mom and it’s a special piece to me.

Thegemstudio.com, $95-$110 average price per jewelry piece, $65-$85 for welded on jewelry

3 – Glass Blowing

Make a round or heart paperweight, cup, garden orb, bowl, sun catcher, or votive candleholder. Classes can be 2 or more, prices and projects vary. There are also seasonal projects like a pumpkin for the fall!

4 – Moonshine Alcohol Ink Art

Amy is a friend of mine and has mastered moonshine alcohol ink art. It is gorgeous! You can create on paper (and have it framed), tile, or coasters. She can bring the party to you.

5 – Board & Brush

I did this with many of my friends at the Glendale location when it just opened up (see post here)! You have 3 hours of studio creativity, and you can choose the wood sign/tray projects to offer your group.  Because these are more template style pieces, creativity isn’t a necessity.

Boardandbrush.com, $65+
