Cupcake Love-In at Hotel Valley Ho

On Veteran’s Day, Amy and I attended the Cupcake Love-in event held at the Hotel Valley Ho.  Basically, we took photos of cupcakes and people holding and tasting cupcakes for hours – plus the cupcake judging contest.  Fun, right?  This event has an amazing story behind it.  This year’s charity was Project H3 Vets, which is trying to make sure our veterans who live in Arizona do not spend a homeless night on the streets of Arizona (as many as 2,213 have on any given night).

Cupcake Love-in was founded by Kelly Garcia of Butter and Me (visit the cutie website and see some of the photos I took of the darling store) and Tracy Dempsey of Tracy Dempsey Originals.  What an amazing event!  If you go next year, I recommend being a VIP – lots of perks!

Thank you to those who is, or haave served, or know someone who has or is currently fighting for the freedoms we have.  Your bravery and self sacrifice is appreciated by many.  Booth photo by SnapBooth.
