Engagement at Folsom Lake: Rachel + Dennis

Rachel is one of my long dearest close girlfriends, we met over 15 years ago in my hometown area in Northern California and you can say we instantly became close, like sisters. She knows my parents well, perhaps the best out of any of my friends given she’s always picking me up at my parents home when I’m home visiting over the holidays. She also knew my little dog Paris well, watching him at times when my parents went cruising, she’s definitely like family. She’s visited me in Phoenix often just to hang out and we had an adventurous time making memories in Thailand two years ago. Speaking of that trip, that was the time she had just met Dennis and FaceTimed him throughout the trip, I had a feeling they were going to work out.

Rachel met her perfect match, I can’t say much else that makes any more sense than them. Dennis is a real cowboy, he owns a ranch and raises cattle and sells them. Rachel is hands on, hiking, running, riding her horses and their lifestyle just blends effortlessly, like true love should.
Down the street from my hometown house we went, right at Folsom Lake to snap a few photos at dusk. With breathtaking moody clouds and luscious tall grass in the middle of the oak trees, there is nothing like shooting your hometown girl in your hometown with her husband to be.
