Cleaning outdoors
When we seeded our lawn winter rye last month – more like Benjamin and his cousin while I sat on Adirondack chair and told them where they missed seeding, I helped by sitting on the porch and as I looked around I asked, “Is there a service that can clean the outside of my house, like windows and screens or under the deck?”
Our windows were dusty, little webs were along our window frames, outside just felt gritty – like we needed to wash outside!
Our cousin answered, “Just get a power jet and connect it to a hose, you can do it yourself.”
Now won’t you look at me! The Power Jet Wand from Gilmour gives you a more powerful stream than a normal nozzle. You can wash the outside of your house by blasting water on dirt and grime on siding, windows, driveways and more.
You can adjust the pressure on the wand on the top which is so easy and I was like, “Look at all that dirt! I’m cleaning the windows! Wahooo!” as all this first trickled down from the outside of the windows. It’s always great to see results immediately, right? Then I started seeing bird poop and then it wasn’t there, this wand is like a magic wand!
Here’s a guide on how to wash your windows like a pro.
The wand has a long handle for the hard to reach places – and also to keep the water stream away from splash my feet, nothing my Hunters can’t handle, really. All four pairs I own just for color coordination purposes.
There is also the Thumb Control Cleaning nozzle – just at the flip of your thumb you can move the lever to keep the water flow on or off. I love this feature on the Gilmour nozzles, we have a lot of them in our garden and it’s so convenient to turn it on and off and it’s easy too.
You can add this nozzle to your collection and use it to clean off tools or patio furniture before storing them, or in our case, before we allow guests to sit down because the weather is getting so good in Phoenix right now!
Also, check out the quick connectors sets that come in heavy duty and light which makes switching tools on hoses easy.
Thank you Gilmour for sponsoring this post.
