I’ll never forget the moment when I realized aviators were making a strong comeback in style – it was at an outdoor concert in college and my friend Chris wore a pair. I remember immediately taking them off his face and putting them on mine and took a photo in them. We chatted about the last time we saw the iconic sunglasses and he talked about how they were becoming popular again (this was early 2000s). The aviator has remained a true classic.
There is a photo of my little brother on top of an airplane wing at an air show surrounded by pilots wearing aviators and it looks so timeless! My mom blew up the photo and framed it in his room and I always thought he looked so cool with the pilots in their aviator sunglasses.
Featuring: Ray-Ban Original Aviator
When I travel I tend to overpack everything, including sunglasses. This habit can be a problem since sunglasses need extra space to not get smashed in my luggage. A classic timeless pair of sunglasses like aviators makes it easier to pack one pair and know it will go with any outfit!
I have gold framed aviators and have been wanting sleek black framed aviators. I’m wearing the 58mm size, which is the popular standard frame size. Ray-Ban aviators feature a full metal frame, crystal lenses, and the teardrop lens silhouette looks good on just about everyone. I also like that the sunnies feel lightweight on my face.
After being gone for a week I had to catch up on work and Benjamin and I shot all day for upcoming campaigns, then we headed to North Italia restaurant in our neighborhood for a lunch break. Sometimes it’s a good reminder to take every opportunity to rest and enjoy the day without being so rushed into working straight through the day, especially when the weather is glorious!
Check out Ray-Ban sunglasses at Kohl’s in various styles, not just aviators, and find the classic pair that works for you and all your outfits.
Diana Elizabeth is excited she was able to wear pants for the first time in Phoenix in a very long time. It means fall has arrived in Phoenix which also means, garden Diana is going to be back on the blog.
