Caroline Van Slyke of Boho Farm and Home: Phoenix, Arizona

Caroline Van Slyke’s bio reads: Wife, mother of two children, six chickens, one Scottish Terrier and one farm cat.  She loves Parisian anything, makes pies from scratch, makes her own jam (oh the strawberry rubarb!), raises her own chickens organic eggs, has an impressive chicken coop and she knows how to decorate, having a successful career as an interior designer for many years.  I know there are 20 more things she does that I haven’t listed because you see, Caroline is just like that.  She is a real life Martha Stewart.  I just told her to not pick up a camera, please. Thankfully, she promised not to.

Caroline, also known as C to me, was my spiritual mentor from church when we both attended EVBC in Gilbert, Ariz.  Today, we are good friends and I love her dearly.  It’s been so many years of an incredible friendship and I’m so happy to see her do what she loves doing and what a success her Boho Farm and Home has been!  One of the biggest was being published in PHOENIX Home and Garden, sister to my favorite magazine, PHOENIX magazine.

Here is Caroline in her element, the Phoenix Valley’s popular Boho Farm and Home.  Read her blog to watch her dish about what she’s cooking in her kitchen, growing in her garden, and her next Farmers/Flea Market!  Also find Boho Farm and Home on Facebook.
