With all the holiday sales I went online and found a few tops that I needed to add to my wardrobe – I love basics, but I also love the tops that have the personality that completely make the outfit.

Pair the basics with the spruced up basic – you need to wear a sweater? Well, wear one with some adorable details and you look instantly dressed up, like you tried – like you don’t really prefer sitting at home in your sweat pants all day…

If you have a hard time finding a style or going beyond basics, just find the pieces with a little more flair, you don’t have to get too crazy but it will help elevate your style, or give you one.

My handbag from Sancia was a gift from my mom and dad for Christmas, it’s all I asked for. I had to find it in a small boutique in Australia (it’s an Australian company) and have it shipped over. I love the bar detail on the bag and well, it’s a neutral so go figure. It’s nice to be back in these studio shooting again, been trying to get over the holiday vacation mode, slowly getting back into the swing of things.
