When it comes to beauty products, I have become an eyeshadow and lipstick junkie. Lately I’ve developed a fascination or rather obsession, with eyeshadows. I’ve gotten bored with the daily look and typical go-to trio brown shadow look I’ve used over the years. After watching various YouTube makeup tutorials I’ve become inspired by different looks and shadow colors are so fun to use to create unique looks – gotta love the education out there!

Beautycounter created a limited-edition eyeshadow palette featuring 18 high pigmented shades. They vary from cool to warm shades, matte and satin finishes. It also has a removable mirror and double-ended brush for application.

Have you heard of Beautycounter? They are a safer, cleaner line of beauty products that prohibits the use of over 1500 harmful or questionable ingredients in their products. One of my best friends is obsessed with Beautycounter, she’s always talking about them and showing me the latest products she ordered.

The mirror pops out!

If you are conscious about what you put on your skin, or you have a friend who is ingredient conscious, these products by Beautycounter would be a winner for a thoughtful and stylish gift. I love gifting beauty products because there’s something about a little indulgence like, something maybe someone wouldn’t splurge on themselves but you can do it for them. Order by December 17 to receive your order by Christmas via ground shipping.

Here is a close up of the 18 colors. If you find it hard to decide what to wear, I noticed if you go down the columns the three colors should blend beautifully – it’s a fool-proof way to start.

I am wearing Blush (under my brows), Sable, and Port (more like a liner) to create a smoky look. I used Cava, a peach shimmering neutral in the inner eye area that really gives eyes a pop, perfect for a holiday look or night out.

I later went to see Fleetwood Mac in concert a few hours after creating this look – I was ready for a girl’s night out!

The limited edition eyeshadow palette comes in a gold-patterned compact and a red box sleeve so it’s convenient and arrives pretty for gift giving. The weight of the eyeshadow palette is hefty, it feels substantial and the pigments are great quality.

I look forward to traveling with this eyeshadow palette, it has all the colors I could go for depending on the outfit and mood!

Applying makeup has never been more fun when you can get creative and try different looks. I swear after the invention of dry shampoo (I know, baby powder was the original dry shampoo), lash extensions and microblading eyebrows. I think it’s getting easier and easier to get ready for the day. I mean do I really have an excuse to not? Ha!

All you need are a few fun pops of color, shadow, or lips – or both as you can see I am not afraid to do both.
