A great Capri Candle Substitute

candle

Bali Sunrise Soy-Blend, $10 / Capri Blue Jar Candle, in Red, $28

Are you a fan of the Capri Blue line?  I’m obsessed with them but I have a hard time letting myself pay almost $30 for candles. I feel like I’m just burning money for pleasure.  I found the cheaper comparison – at Target of course!  $10 and it’s a soy based candle so it lasts a long time.

I had it burning while our small group was going on and a gf asked if it was the Anthro Capri candle – ding ding, it even convinced her that it was.  I know the Capri is prettier, but if you light the Bali Sunrise in another room you’ll still smell it!

I stand in candle aisles making horrid faces. I’m very picky, and I only like vanilla or citrus candles. If you ever see me in one, please walk away and never mention it because I’ll be thoroughly embarrassed.

Pick the candle up, I promise you won’t regret it!   Bali Sunrise Soy-Blend, $10 and a smaller one for $5 – perfect for the guest room!  If you don’t like the sticker, peel it off.  That’s what I do.

Diana Elizabeth also loves Blood Orange candles – wonderful for the kitchen to mask any cooking smells…or burning.

Oh my gosh, I have to go to Target tomorrow! I love the Blue Capri and also find it hard to spend so much on a candle! I even had a candle maker try to duplicate the scent in hopes of a cheaper alternative, but the demo didn’t even come close. I hope this one is the perfect alternative!

What a great sounding alternative! I love Capri Blue candles and Volcano is one of my favorites. I’ll have to seek the Bali Sunrise candle out next time I’m in Target. Thanks!
