Sweet bath time
I know it looks like I’m eating dessert in the tub – haha! One of my favorite things about being a blogger is acting as the editor of my own little magazine – a teenage dream of mine. I wrote to magazine editors asking for career guidance before I applied to college and heard back from Graydon Carter (Vanity Fair) who said when I needed an internship to get in touch, I corresponded with Linda Wells of Allure for a good year, she was the sweetest! A few from Teen, YM and Seventeen, these editors were SO kind. I loved the movie Devil Wears Prada and currently watching So Cosmo on E! because it’s like watching that once upon a dream unfold (no longer a dream but kinda fun to see what could have been). Instead, I decided to pursue television but my love for writing, discovering products has brought me back to blogging!
All that to say, I’ve always loved magazines and beauty products. In high school I used to soak in the tub for hours, radio on, reading my teen magazines and enjoying a bubble bath until it got cold, only to add more hot water. I think I need to get back into that habit (just need to find an hour to spare).
How adorable are these bath products? Zoella Beauty can be found at Target (which means affordable!). I think this would be so fun to gift to a girlfriend, who doesn’t love pampering herself?
^^ Soak Opera bath + shower cream / Scooper Dooper foaming bath soak / Pretty Polished sugar scrub
Oh my word, and now these – they look like truffles – but they are bath bombs! Get out! You can find Fizz & Bubble at Ulta, just $20. Another great girlfriend gift idea, right? They also have individual cupcake looking bath fizzles for $10. They smell delicious by the way. Benjamin thought they were real and was about to eat one, haha!
Who says bath time fun are just for kiddos, let’s go back to those bubble bath, magazine reading R&R days!
