  • Had an incredible day catching up with with @beautybylizzymarsh as she made my face 💄 so I could get ready for 📷 time with one of my favorites, the talented @autumnrenaephoto. 🖤 We shot with no agenda or expectations. I have been overwhelmed lately, and this was a little bit of time for us to create for us - sometimes that’s what creatives need, a break to reconnect and shot for yourself. Thanks @autumnrenaephoto for always bringing out the best side of me and allowing me to “reset” in front of your camera. I needed it as much as you 😘❤️
  • Continuing the Creating Bonds Series - How to Create a Group of Friends 👭👭👭. I have always had groups since high school and through different parts of my life. It doesn’t have to be large, it can be as small as 3 and as large as 6 (in my case) or larger! It takes time but there is a great opportunity in starting a group after a shared common interest or event. This girl gang of mine (1 gal not pictured) was created from pageantry! I share a few more of my groups and what we do to stay close. One group I’ve had for 15 years! Friendships are priceless and when you find the right people they become your support group and family ❤️Link in bio.
  • We left this room untouched - the walls that is. While the rest of the walls to both sides are now white - Origami White in the expansion and Alabaster (@sherwinwilliams) in the hallway and living room I like that we left this Sandy Hook Gray @benjaminmoore. I realized I need to reshoot the entire house, which is fine because not only do we have new wall colors but so much more light after the skylights and sun tunnels I have to share. ⠀ .⠀ I just got word @veluxusa is having a sweepstakes for 2 VELUX No Leak Solar Powered Fresh Air Skylights with Solar Blinds and installation - just like what I have in our kitchen!! I’ll post more soon, they just announced it! ⠀ .⠀ Handyman Richard is over now to design some brick steps outside the patio doors and new bathroom hardware in the existing house.   • We couldn’t wait last night to move in the furniture that’s been sitting in my photo studio since Black Friday, and some pieces since summer when we first got plans approved. The room isn’t nearly done yet, tv needs to be mounted, Murphy bed and bookcases are on their way and we are ordering a pair of swivel chairs. But, here I am posting this from the couch in the expansion which I think we might call the sun room or garden room (defined online: a room that is built, either attached to, or integrated into, the primary building, such as a residence or office, that permits abundant daylight and views of the landscape while sheltering from adverse weather.) Whatever we decide to call it, it feels like home. ❤️🏡
