fall + winter style
A little bit of chaos in my life
"I'm a model, editor, blogger, a creative director—" I rattled off as though it was a to do list, as I walked quickly toward the laundry room door to head inside, it was so chilly after our shoot. Phoenix actually had a real winter this year and I was over it.
‘Tis the Season – 25 Holiday Gift Ideas
Last week was productive, and this week I'm kind of off. I say kind of because it's blocked off but the reality is a few campaigns landed in my inbox that I couldn't say no to, but really after this week, my editorial calendar is full. I had to find Mr. Wonderful an anniversary gift for our SEVENTH anniversary. It really feels like we got married not long ago, I mean our wedding in Sedona to me still looks timeless and very relevant (good job photographer Ryan Ray) also a perk to picking the right photographer!
Palm Spring Windmills: Thankful for New Perspectives and Style Choices
My hotel gift shop sunnies are making another debut on the blog. See dad, I'm wearing them again, thanks for buying them for me!
Cactarium in Palm Springs
How was your Thanksgiving, Black Friday, rival football game weekend? My Thanksgiving was delicious as always since we started going to Benjamin's relatives and also get some goody leftovers to enjoy later that night and the next afternoon. We indulged heavily in Black Friday since we had lots of things to buy for the expansion and saved up, more on that in a second. The fact that the items I had been eyeing and saved on Pinterest, were all on sale, we just decided to buy buy buy! When you've been waiting for the right moment then Black Friday and Cyber Monday rolls around, oh boy! My team lost in the territorial cup, but I didn't watch the game since I was decorating the house for Christmas and Mr. Wonderful was hanging Christmas lights.
Apple Hill, and some pumpkins
I packed my camera for the styling workshop I was attending and decided to bring it along to our morning trip to Apple Hill. I've blogged about this spot around the same time every few years. We went pretty early, made our typical stops and ate lunch and walked around some craft tents. There are a bunch of apple ranchers who sell apple everything. Think Bubba Gump Shrimp but Apple theme and you just drive around this area and stop at these spots and eat and be merry.
Feeling Parisian in stripes and a bold red lip in Salt Lake City
Bonjour from your favorite Par-Asian. Oh if I lived in Paris that would for sure be my blogging name, haha! Anyway, I'm not in France but I am in Salt Lake City. I felt very French wearing my outfit this day, and of course with a bold red lip because how could I not when a big bold red lip is on my sweater?
Grand Teton National Park: Traveling with Lightweight Ergonomic Shoes
We've been doing a lot of walking, per usual during any travel trip. I'm such a planner for outfits, I try the entire outfit on with shoes and I have every outfit on a Post-It. I write down the weather and I look up the destination on Google Images so I can plan outfits accordingly - again, duties of my job and I love it!
Visiting Sculptures: Mount Rushmore + Crazy Horse
Our day visiting Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore was a packed day for us. The weather is wonderful here in South Dakota, mid-80s and sunny, I could just sit in the shade outside all day! We had an early breakfast and hit the road to visit some iconic sculptures.
