Head to toe Leopard in the garden UPF 50+ (30% off sale)

I know I should be wearing SPF on my body when I garden every day, but truthfully I am lazy. Thankfully as the weather has cooled I can wear long sleeves and this lightweight outfit is UPF 50+!!! Gotta love that!

ometimes I think Benjamin should write the captions. He said “You remind me of Wonderwoman 1984” as soon as I put this outfit on, the all leopard. I think what he meant was, I looked really good in it and it was a great outfit!

Hallelujah the good weather is here and I have been able to get a lot done outside. I should rest a bit but no time for that, so much to prune, replace, make pretty in time for my Princess Diana themed birthday party next month!

And if it gets too hot, I just swap the bottoms for this skort –

I tried to play tennis and my mom tried to teach me before high school but it was so much running back and forth I was exhausted. My body has never done well with cardio. So I decided to join the dance team in high school instead to wear a skirt. Ha! But I do have to say it’s adorable seeing tennis and golf players wear these skorts and I wear them for gardening!

We bought 10 small oleanders, they will stay small so they are called dwarf oleanders! We got pink and they will go on the other side of that black gate. It has taken us 3 seasons of dead things and wasted money and pulling out lavender and rosemary to realize nothing will survive in that heat box except perhaps oleander. It faces north west and when the sun sets it beats against the white and the cinderblocks gets so hot and it radiates heat. The rosemary maybe would have survived if we didn’t overwater them and they didn’t die of root rot, but it’s so hard to adjust the water (I mean we need to just pick a day and change out nozzles…) anyway you really can’t kill oleander no matter what you do whether you forget to water it or overwater it, it’ll be fine! So after $300 (that’s $30 per plant) we hope this will last us for YEARS and save us money in the long run which is the goal.

Right now Lilly Pulitzer is having a 30% off sale on cozy items, sweaters and cardigans, athletic wear, and loungewear and pajamas through Friday. Here are some of my favorites on the site –

Diana Elizabeth wears driving gloves with SPF in them when she drives. She isn’t sure if it helps much since she’s outside gardening all the time but whatever makes her think she’s doing something.
