Kate and Brett met while attending Baylor University.  The two compliment each other in more ways than one.  In fact, I’m certain if they are the missing puzzle pieces in each other’s lives.  When Kate told me she does the visuals at J.Crew and her dress was from there, I knew I had a bride with excellent taste.  Then, she told me she was also a graphic designer (my other love), every photographer’s dream bride!

When Kate and I met up for lunch a few weeks prior to the big day, we chatted for two and a half hours.  We left only because she had a hair appointment, otherwise we would have spend the rest of the day laughing together at BJ’s. You could say that I looked very much forward to seeing the two again on their big day and I haven’t laughed so hard or so much during a wedding!

Gold confetti.  Kate Spade shoes (yes my Kate Spade Bride is named Kate).  J.Crew bridal gown & bridesmaid dresses.  The Hotel Valley Ho.  A bride and groom with a zest for life, who love to crack jokes and love each other so very much, what a perfect wedding day!

Even now, I’m thinking of the things that happened on that day and Kate making me laugh so hard that I can’t help but giggle.  Kate and Brett, I adore you both to pieces.  I look forward to the start of our friendship!

Brett and Kate are the only ones out of friends and family who live in Arizona so this was a destination wedding for everyone.  The intimate wedding of 45 guests allowed us to get a nice group photo after the ceremony. And yes, you are seeing double, the MOH was Kate’s twin sister, Sarah who is also a talented photographer!
